My savior

For the longest time she felt lonely & scared
she used to cry and no one cared
she felt it didn't matter if she was dead or alive
ao she based her life around getting high
she grew up being a normal girl
but met one boy who changed her world
he showed her how to be broken bleeding and used
she was mistreated, defeated and abused
he made her feel so helpless and small
and into the shadows, in the corner she'd crawl
she hated whenever he yelled so loud
no matter how hard she tried, he'd never be proud
the one day he decided to leave
her friends told her she was better off but she didn't believe
for days and months she cried and cried
she sniffed her lines and loved her high
she sat in the shadows all on her own
she had never before felt so alone
and just then she she was ready to die
she didn't for one more night want to cry
and at that moment her angel fell from the sky
he dried her tears and he took her hand
he spoke gentle words and he did understand
she felt for the first time she wanted to be alive
she dropped her straw and stopped getting high
he showed her how beautiful the world really was
he bought her flowers and gifts just because
he made her laugh when she didn't want to smile
he promised he'd stick around for a while
he still holds her today when she cries
he's always so kind and he never tells lies
he save the life of this once broken girl
and with him by her side she could conquer the world
