My Life Is Nature

by Daisy   Dec 14, 2008

My heart is the wind,
Racing free and wild,
My skin is honey,
Lovely sweet and mild,
My thoughts are the clouds,
Racing freely fast,
My frown is thunder,
Before my anger's past,
My smile is the ray of sun
That appears behind the cloud,
My voice is sing-song,
No matter how loud,
My tears are the rain,
That come pouring down,
My hair is the rainbow*,
Beautiful, shiny and brown,
My face is a rosebud,
Shaped in heart shape very pretty,
My wisdom is the sky,
Stretching far and witty,
My life is the world,
Making my life happy.
**********************************************
* you can never reach the end of the rainbow, so you can't reach for the end of my hair, it's too long.
This poem is nothing to do with me apart from the long brown hair. :D

    Your words are the ocean.
    So vast and so deep.

Sorry, got caught up in your rhythm...

Hmmm... I think we can learn a lot when we look to nature. It's also a good way to portray feelings that can't be described in any other way. The best way to descibe this poem, I think, is that you used "pretty" words. Good job.
