Kittens

Kittens, so very playful, into everything,
jumping, running, pouncing on anything that moves.
Curiosity about all things, even a piece of old string.
Cute, furry, lovable little creatures.

Unconditional love is their generous gift to you.
They don't ask for much in return,
food and water, a place to sleep the whole day through.
Their blind trust in you is overwhelming.

Each one has a different personality, you see
Some are independent, others very needy
All seem to have a spirit that is free.
How I envy those sweet little kittens.

    Yes Silvia...kittens are so adorable:)
    I am more of a dog- person, but I do find cats very sweet. They seem so soft and comforting. I can imagine you derive much joy from having them:)
