Frozen in your Firey Stare (Rhyming Acrostic)

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Dec 15, 2008

Fascinated by your pupils, so dark they capture my being.
Radiating a familiar color and shine I can't recall seeing.
Onward I dive into the romantic abyss of your sight.
Zealous pools so calm I lack the strength to fight.
Enchanted in your stare, I can't pull myself away.
Nothing seems to move, in this point of time I stay.

Innocence, and lust, bring temptation to get nearer.
No, I shouldn't dare, but I must see them clearer.

Yes, they're they spy, two eyes with such a trance.
Oh, it's not good enough, to them I must advance.
Unbelievably beautiful, we stand face to face.
Really quite awkward, but he stands with such grace.

Fire in his eyes, in such a deep burning stare.
I haven't even looked at him, just the eyes that glare.
Revitalizing my soul, as if I was being healed.
Eyes start to blink, the stare has been sealed.
Yearning for the stare to return, I continue to look.

Sadly his remained shut, closed like a book.
Tattered, my soul began to bend and fray,
And my longing eyes were lead astray.
Remembering that frozen moment in time
Ever will be in my life the most sublime.
