Don't Forget That

by ShyandHurt   Dec 15, 2008

I stare out my window so wistfully, longing so much for your gentle hand
I miss you so much, I miss everything
My mind can only play over and over that wonderful sensation, that feeling of love and belonging
I wish for your lips to press to mine softly but with such passion, to pull me close to you
I can almost feel it, I recall how perfect it is when your hand cups my cheek
Sliding to the back of my neck, I just remember so well
My lips yield to yours, I cannot possibly get any closer to you
Our hearts pound together, I want you so much.

Blurred it all goes, I snap back to reality
I'm in my house, on a wooden chair
You aren't here, no one is
Sighing I return back to work, alone
My stomach keeps going, flipping about
I cannot, will not forget you
I can't and I won't
Now
Don't you forget that.
