Between life and death

by JAZMIN   Dec 16, 2008

Somewhere between Life,
there is death.
The thought boils into your mind,
and sits there waiting for the action.
It may stay in your mind,
or it may leave out to die.
But once it stays, and it happens...
you realize that all you want is life.
But if you accomplish it,
you will regret it and want to come back.
But it will haunt you for a long time.
You have to learn to live, so when you die,
there will ne nothing in your mind.
Somewhere between life and death
there is that thought.
Somewhere between life and death
is your destiny.

This poem, despite the grammer mistakes,(dont worry, no one is perfect) is a truth that has humans we all neglect and we all fear. Death is a mystery all in its own, and that thought is our unfinished bussiness that we feel we still must attend to, or regret or worry. It makes me think of my life and the way I live it. I am a simple person that never sits on something that has to wait and I live with the motto, Do without regret. Very thought provoking poem and a beautiful decorum. 5/5
