Different Paths

by John Long   Dec 16, 2008

I carried my emotional baggage up her stairs and
Stored it under the bed,
Where it remained for many years,
Even after she wed.
A hidden thing gathering dust,
A wistful reminder of my love and lust.

This is quite touching. I do love how you bare all, and your clever wordings make it that much more enticing. Beautiful and sad.

    John,

I remember how you once told me a story about a woman you loved dearly...I have a feeling this is about her.
Some people are unforgetable, this is true.
A lovely short poem about a dear memory:)

    Take care my friend,

    5/5 Ingrid
