A Day He Will Be All mine

by Shery   Dec 17, 2008

So lonely and out of touch,
He is here in person, but not his heart.
He is torn between two,
I am left to play monkey in the middle.
I wait for a day when he will be all mine,
His thoughts, his laugh, his love
And everything in between.
For now I am just happy, that he even thinks about me.
I do not pressure, because that's not how love works.
But I miss him at night when I sleep alone, when i make dinner for two, but a vacant seat remains.
Yet I close my eyes and smile;
Because we have had great times.
But I still wait for a day when he will be all mine.
