Walking the line between lies and love

I've walked the line between lies and love..
I've seen others get destroyed by the same pain that we feel
Some are strong enough to take it
Others have a weak heart
I have burned myself with the fire love brings
I have drowned myself with the lies of others and my own..
Some can take the pain in love
Others can take the pain of a lie
Both have killed me and brought me back from the webs of death.
They have taken my smile and made my heart fly
So the line between love and lies
Is the line between lies and love..
Many live their lives like that
Many hate it and end their lives.
I wish I could do both
My heart has too many scars to let this one burn
