All of the stupid things

I never meant to make you cry, from all the stupid things I do.
I never meant to feed you lies just to get a kiss from you.
I meant to hold you and never let go.
These are things on my mind, so I have to let you know.
Everyday I think of how I had to let you go.
And in everyone’s faces I see feelings I wish that I had shown.
Now I see you and it hurts so bad how I let you walk past and the love we used to have.
Sometimes I wish I had you back, but you’re gone now and your love is what I wish I didn’t lack.
Please forgive me for all of these stupid things. I never meant to hurt you I only wanted to stay with you.
But you weren’t around when I needed you; you were out with your friend’s doin what you do.
And it hurt that I couldn’t see you.
You said you don’t get what you want from me.
So get it from another chick since that seems to make you happy.
You have your wish I set you free.
Even though it hurts that you no longer belong to me.

    I really liked ur poem megan and specially the last part,,,and its true and relationships R CONFUSINGGGG
    sumtimes u feel ur doin ur best 2 keep him near ,but u figure out tht u drivin him away unkowninglyyy:(

    I did like your poem. You had very powerful emotion and you told s very tragic tale. However, my critique is I think you should space your stanzas a little more. The rhyme is good and the rhythm is there, you just have to give it a little better spin. A wonderful write though.
