Her sad Christmas

by Amber   Dec 18, 2008

Poor little girl. She is seen sitting behind the chair shaking.
Only 5 years old and yet again another Christmas gone wrong.
Once again her parents are fighting, but do they know she is aching?
All she wants is a Christmas where her parents get along.

For 5 years, she has never had the Christmas of her dreams.
She has dealt with a broken Christmas with no peace or love.
Instead she dealt with hatred and the her moms blood curling screams.
But she thought she could nothing but pray to the gods above.

Heart breaking, tears streaming out of her angelic eyes,
She gives up her dreams. Gives up on her prayers.
Eyes closed tears streaming down faster as she hears the cries.
Cries of the tree falling, few presents breaking and cries of their despairs.

Her dad grabs her mom and throw her on the tree while she cries.
She hears sirens wailing and she knew her neighbors had called.
With her parents gone she goes to her savior and looks them in the eyes,
"Finally I can get a good family and one good Christmas." She bawled.

    "The night was still
    To still to remember
    It was a while ago
    On a cold windy December"

Great poem, it inspires me, lol. 5/5
