You came back

by Erin   Dec 18, 2008

When you left, I tried to forget
to forget you
It wasn't hard
I thought it was the right thing to do

You were a million miles away
It came easy to forget
to forget each day
till the day we first met

3 months 2 weeks gone by
I saw you standing there
at the corner of my eye
I was shock and aware

You came towards me
As I stood still
my voice stuck in sea
your smile left me a chill

It seemed like a dream
that you had come back
it was to extreme
I couldn't stay on track

your scent smelt the same
as it ever did before
eyes tame
that made me want more

You came back
the 3 months had
seem to fade to black
I was mad

How you left me
alone, countless nights
scared I wouldn't ever see you
I sucked it up and took its fights

I tried to forget you
now here you are
you left
leaving a unrecoverable scar

Let not the start, overwhelm you. Every beginning, shades a truth. The end, is where the truth is known. Lesson learned, saves a future blame.
