Immaturity

Why can't we be mature?
No one says it can't be fun
I'm not really sure
how we became so dumb

Life's a joke
We live and learn
People go out and smoke
all to feel the burn

We have no common sense
We just do as we please
We're so safe standing on the fence
It's just a waste of our energies

Immaturity is the key to being free
Almost as free as the high sea
It's just too bad that this rule applies to society.
