A tear in wait

You can see it when he looks at her
his eyes begin to shine
if she were all that he could see
he'd stare till the end of time
I guess that i could go in depth..
explain the reasons why
but that would be too...typical
too sweet a lullaby
now he sits and thinks of her
bout how things could have been
theres just no way to be sure
just thoughts lost in the wind
a million smiles down the road
he pictures her with him
and thinking of that first red rose
he cant help but grin
everything from they're first kiss
to when they said goodbye
its all saved inside his head
