Letting go of a Broken heart

Shattered heart of my dismay,
Reminiscing about the past today,
A tear entwined with the ocean,
Only as I known my heart broken.

An Presences left lingering,
My devotion taken for granted,
A smothered graze portrayed down my face,
Gravity pulling on my stomach once again.

Sickness fills within my empty shell,
Everything betraying truthful words,
Lies gathering from your sweet lips,
a disease with a struggle to dismiss.

Letting go an obstacle to defeat,
Waking up from a fairytale dream,
Disaster strikes without a voice,
Pain escaping every gap obtained within.

Answers denied insignificant times,
Discussing the honesty through questions,
Consequently truth is hard to get,
Until the futures no longer there.

Rude gestures without thought,
Judgment is gone from sight,
Whispers begin to echo inside,
Embracing this feeling.

Heart broken ocean of tears,
Grasping for air just another breath,
Acknowledging your no longer here,
Letting go of what i begin to miss.

The past obtaining memories,
Present breaking me down,
Future to find another road,
And this is my thoughtful goodbye.
