Then all of a sudden life seems so unfair
You look so happy and so glad
And those feelings make me hurt and mad
I am over you and onto new and better things
But all of a sudden I see what life brings
I miss you and all our times together
But then I think of all the times that I could not keep forever
Through all the smiles and heartaches and tears
Never getting you back is one of my fears
I want to erase you from my past
But I don’t want you to be gone too fast
So I will try to erase you and never look back
And hopefully my heart will stay intact
But through the good times and bad
I will never forget what we had
