The Kill

by brie kelly wise   Dec 24, 2008

Shave her of her defenses
Watch her break apart like a handful of ashses
Burn through her like everyone else
Hate her until she's sick of herself
Save her from the ghosts in the closet
Spend her like the pennies in your pocket
Hide her under a pillow until she's smothered
Drown her in the very ocean you threw the others
Stray her from the only place she knew
Take her from the only face she knew to be true
Let her walk away this time, please
Don't kill her like you killed me
