I lay on my bed looking up
As I hold a Guitar Hero Controller
Pretending I can play a guitar
Even though I know I can't

The first guitar plays
It starts off real low
You almost can't hear it
Unless you listen close

Then a second joins it
And suddenly the beat picks up
It's gotten louder but smoother
It almost puts you to sleep

The beat continues like this
With parts that sometimes get louder
Just like the highs and lows
In our relationship but always together
