It was this day, about sixteen years ago,
A baby was born on this wonderful day.
To be cherished and loved by all;
They gave her the light to guide her way.
She was a bundle of joy, a beautiful miracle;
She would be special and a good friend.
And even though she didn't know it,
She would be there to give a helping hand.
Now years later, she's been through so much,
And even though some things went wrong,
She's still here, with a bleeding heart,
Trying her very best to stay strong.
She helped so many people through the worst,
And that's what gives her such a big, beautiful heart.
She's a gorgeous diamond underneath all the rubble,
And even though there are cracks; she'll never break apart.
