The Girl In The Mirror

Looking at herself in the mirror
seeing her face filled with terror
her face filled with sadness and tears
that turn into cries that no one hears

shes looking for that sign
that person who knows shes not fine
maybe that person will never come
she wonders what she will become

trying hard to figure out what do to
being forgotten is making her feel blue
is she the only one in the universe
that has been put under this curse

trying hard to live with this pain
shes living life tied to a chain
just like a bird, she wants to be free
but just like a baby, she cant leave the tree

tired of looking at her face
she figured life isn't her real place
so she breaks the mirror to stop staring
seven years of bad luck, that was daring

but shes already filled with bad luck
this curse will now forever stay stuck
as she tries to live life through
happiness is what she starts to pursue
