Royal Rose (Rhyming Alliterisen)

by Sylvia   Dec 27, 2008

Sweet scents tickle your nose.
Odorous perfume, regal rose.
Soft silky satin petals,
sharp thorns like nasty nettles.
Countless colors paint their blooms,
their brilliant beauty consumes.
God's great gift to please our eyes.

    Silvia,

This format seems awfully difficult to me.
I would like to try one and ask you to help me:)
I loved the rhyming scheme, it gave the poem a pace that almost made it dance off the page.
I love roses too. I always have at least two vases filled with them in my living room. The house would feel empty without them:)
    Bravo on this royal poem:)

    *hugs*

    5/5 Ingrid
