Your smile.

Yet it's only been a short while.

The look in your eyes,
The smell of your skin.
The sound of your sighs,
The silence at a drop of a pin.

The movement closer,
The breath you breathe.
My head on your shoulder,
My want for you never to leave.

Your hands on my back,
The movement of your fingers.
Closeness is not something we lack,
For the togetherness lingers.

We let go after a while,
And take a step apart.
I look up to see your smile,
