Heartbreaker (Constanza)

by Sylvia   Dec 29, 2008

Hair the color of golden wheat.
Strands rumpled by the wind blowing
hands smoothing them without knowing.

A seductive smile yet so sweet
your lips curl slightly when you grin,
and there's a dimple in your chin.

In your eyes there is no conceit.
Sparkling like diamonds, shades of blue,
a passion in your eyes shows through.

A tilt of your head as you greet
people whose path that you might cross.
Sincere is how you come across.

Many friends, you never retreat.
Some might say you're a heartbreaker,
I say giver not a taker.

    Sivlia,

I realize my first comment may have sounded a little unkind.
I assure you it has nothing to do with the quality of you work. The content reminds me of someone I have known and that broke my heart three times in a row, that's all.
    I absolutly adore your poetry:)
