Chapter 2: Breaking Her Heart

He quickly peered down at his watch and in a second he was gone
She was left behind again to fend for herself all alone....
Her journal was opened as she wrote the days events...
Ending it with a why is love the only thing this curse prevents..

She turned off the light to her room, which had really been abandoned for some time...
She layed her head on her pillow and was almost afraid of the thoughts created by her mind
Did he really see me? Is a few hours in this world only a second in his?
What is this beating deep under my left rib?

She woke up only find the sun coming up again, swallowing the city...
Looking out the window she was afraid of what she would see
He was standing there smiling as she emerged from the curtains...
He could see her of that she was certain........

He slowly approched the building's stairs...
She started to fiddle with her hair
To afraid to think that he was more then intriged
The thought that he was coming for her was to much to believe...

You're doing good. Meanwhile, you may want to insert a quotation around this sentence:"why is love the only thing this curse prevents"...I can't wait to see the third chapter. Btw, I will give a 5/5 for this...
