It can't rain all the time

When your chips are down, and your plans unclear.
Everyone hides their darkest shades of fear.
They all look for a place to turn and hide.
Searching for someone, anyone, on their side.

It's too bad that they can't see one simple truth.
Something proved real since our youth.
Just one plain fact, No more rhythm or rhyme
The truth of the matter is, It can't rain all the time.

    Wow this poem certainly makes sense.I like how you used the weather as metaphor to bring your message across. Well in this life thing doesn't really always go our ways... you we must learn to accpet te cold hard truth. I think you have penned down a beautifully crafted piece

    its true though right, it cant rain all the time. There is always the pretty rainbow after the rain :]

    AMAZING! Perfect rhymes, Just...I am left speechless! I love the way you sum it all up at the very end in hope and you begin the poem in a darker mood. WONDERFUL!! SOOO a 5/5!

    I read this twice , very short but with the most powerful of words. A positive look to the coming of sunrise basically , Great job and thought provoking
