EASY CHAIR

Old ways come knocking
it’s no commotion
to let them enter
once inside
the new ways
seems not so new
favoured suddenly less
by that well known
and saved by a grace
for they slip “ just so “
back into place
I’d never filled their mental home
just around their patch
distractions grown
until my thoughts
were not my own

    This babies about trying to change....but then something happens and you reverty back to old ways..usually bad habits....
