Everyone hides their darkest shades of fear

Everyone seems to think
These pills are truly my greatest fear
But what they really don't know
The one thing I'm afraid of is this tear

The tear being caused by a nightmare
Strong enough to feel
Which turns into a memory
The nightmare has become real

Then my brain is complete darkness
No such thing as cheer
But as you know everyone hides
Their darkest shades of fear

I do have one fear
And that will always be true
My nightmare my one fear
Is the thought of losing you
