Just trying to stay young in a world grown old
Having been told, being constantly cajoled
The guns and violence in innocent schools
The fighting and drugs against the police rules

The fighting families portrayed in movies
Alcohol and Meth, specially filled brownies
Unwed sex stealing an innocuous many
Death and banishment for those who don’t agree

Shaken baby syndrome, neonatal abuse
Familial disputes at any excuse
Who is going to come to our rescue?
Who is to give back all of our virtue?

    I love the way you portray the problems that is happening in our modern day society. Indeed you have tackle the subject really well. The choice of words that you used really brings the poetry to life. I love how you end it with those questions...indeed the world is in need of an angel.
