Puppet-man

by Sean Allen   Jun 10, 2004

Puppet-man, puppet-man,
why rain on their parade?
Puppet-man, puppet-man,
they'll be dancing on your grave.

Puppet-man, puppet-man,
how can I make you see?
Puppet-man, puppet-man,
in this world there are three
main players on the stage:
you, the puppet, and the grave.

Puppet-man, puppet-man,
won't you please flee?
Puppet-man, puppet-man,
please escape duality.

Puppet-man, puppet-man,
maintain your way of life.
Puppet-man, puppet-man,
I'm on the edge of a knife.
What could a puppet like me do
without a puppet-man like you?

Well, after much thought, i think that this poem symbolizes you and person in your life that likes to play you and that person's not necessarily a guy or human being for that matter. It could anything. I like the repetition included in this poem. It makes it have flow and like a song. Keep it up.
