The Dragonfly Part 2- Transforming

My Dragonfly - Transforming

My Dragonfly Transforming, Oh My Sweet Soul-mate,
What Has Become of Our Dream, I have Wondered of Late?...

So Sure to Have Found You & Thought You Were Real,
Parched Desert Mirage You Vanished.... My Heart, Did You Steal.

Am I a Fool with His Dreams, Like a Blanket For Baby?
Wrapped 'round me For Comfort, With Echoes of Maybe?

Each Day of My Life I Have Thought & Have Said:
For You I Will Wait, 'til Our Love Has Gone Dead...

I Know Not Why, You May Not See What I Do,
What Magic We'll Make, A Love Between Two!

Each Day Since We Met, I Was Sure You Were The One.
As Years Now Go By, Should I Consider Us Done?

I Just Cannot Quit You & Throw Us Away,
'til I Hear From Your Lips - "I No Longer Love You", Come What Will & What May.

Our Lives Are In Transform, What Will Be Our Fate?
As To the Outcome, For This I Will Wait.
Oh, Please Do Come Home Soon, Back Home to My Gate....
