"It sounds harsh no lie"
[It sounds harsh, no lie]
- I think you definitely need a comma there.
You're on a streak, haha. This, as well as the last poem, is VERY well written. I absolutely adore this poem. I think it's well written and the meaning to it is so relatable. It makes me want to cry, err it kind of made me cry already haha. You wrote this well, as I said. But, I think what hits the spot with it is the meaning and the emotion you put behind it. It's not just a good poem with a good meaning, it's a phenomal poem with a credible meaning.
I was going through and reading some poems. For some reason I stumbled upon this one...
I want you to know that as I was going through poems I was crying.. so much has happened these last few days that I have felt so overwhelmed and honestly... feeling sorry for myself.
Reading this particular poem for some reason made me realize that even though things in my life may appear to be very bleak at the moment that is no reason to feel sorry for myself. I do need to endure this pain...
It is the same message that I have been telling my children... I want them to feel the pains in life that cut so deep they cannot bare it so when they do experience the joy they will embrace it.
Thank you, Michael, once again. Your poems always send a positive message to readers even when unintentional.
