Lone Winter Soul

by Max Krakers   Jan 7, 2009

In winter there wanders,
A lost lover's soul.
Cold and unfeeling,
In loneliness whole.

Her skin soft yet frozen,
Her heart made of ice.
Winter has become her,
Clasped on like a vice.

Forever she searches,
In dark frozen lands.
Her cage has no boundaries,
It just never ends.

For she's trapped inside,
Her own frozen mind.
Her soul is still hopeful,
Her heart long since blind.

But even the coldest,
And loneliest heart.
Left untouched by warmth,
By cold torn apart.

Shall once be unfrozen,
Released from it's cage.
Thad and awoken,
By warm lovers gaze.
