Other Side Of Me. (My favorite)

Her scars tell a story,
The story of her life
Each one a different meaning,
Each one a different strife

Each scar deep
Will silently explain
Her struggle for an answer,
Her struggle to stay sane

Her life has no meaning,
It only brings grief
Her death is sacred,
That is her belief

The happiness surrounding her,
Died off long ago
The pain that's inside her,
She'll never let show.

She will smile to your face,
Cry behind your back
Fear is what she carries,
And love, what she lacks

The truth behind her sad eyes,
She will never tell
Outside- she looks happy,
Inside- she hurts like hell

She slices her wrists in fury,
She cuts to help the pain
In the dark so no one knows,
Her tears pour down like rain

Who is this girl,
The one you will never see?
No one really special,
Just the other side of me...

    I love that part, it shows the contrast of what people see, and what is the truth.

    That's why it makes it hard for so many people to realise that something is up. From personal experience, a smile covers everything.

    I love this poem and will favourite it. Keep writing =)

    As for this one, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It conveys strong emotions that I can easily relate to. Hiding your true feelings from others is not easy to do. I'm sorry you're having to feel this pain, but you did a great job of letting it out in this poem. Great writing, Great read, and Great Job!
