Where are you now when I need you?

You are always around
when I don't need you to be
You are awlays around
When everything is going good for me

As soon as I need help
You disappear
But when I start to smile again
You re-appear

Now when I'm in pain I want you here
I want you to tell me that everything's gonna be alright
I need you to approach me to fight!

Where are you now, now when I need you?
Is this the way it's always gonne be?
You said that you were my friend and I believed you
But how can you call yourself my friend
When you are never here for me?

    Longing for a friend to be there when we need them is something we all want.

    Your expression of the pain and hurt of not having that in a person you expect it from is evident. I also know this awful feeling.
