Karma

by Beautiful Chaos   Jan 14, 2009

A touch of darkness deep inside
Somewhere within us all
Hearts that harbour secret wishes
Aloud, we'd not recall

A little black within the red
Blood flows through the veins
Our eyes await catastrophe
Smiling as it rains

Until it falls upon your head
Or takes what you held dear
Then the joy you thought existed
No longer seems sincere

Fate or Karma, pick a name
Either way a choice
Decided by the way you live
In how you use your voice

You know what...I was just seeking something new in poetry..this poem was very unique..it so hit home for me..

A little black within the red
    Blood flows through the veins
    Our eyes await catastrophe
    Smiling as it rains

This stanza was amazing...oh I just can't express how it's touched me..both first lines fit awesome together..the other two were very touchy !

I also loved the last stanza, I love how you tend to end your poems..that was very intelligent =]
You're such a good poetess..especially when it comes to your about-life poems.

Thats a very interesting topic you wrote on... a very philosophical one ... If i have to pick something it will be Karma ... because in long way that will decide the fate...

"Then the joy you thought existed
    No longer seems sincere"

^^ wonderful lines... very deep...I felt like it is aking me look deep inside me ... the things that I think bring happiness... it is true or just an illussion ... or a veil that I have worn on my eyes...

    very well penned...
