Fire ( Pleiades)

by Ingrid   Jan 14, 2009

Fire of intense passion
Flames of love and lust burn
Finds ways to reignite
For without these feelings
Forlorn would our world be
Fuel provided by God
Forever He will reign

Pleiades - This titled form was invented in 1999 by Craig Tigerman, Sol Magazine's Lead Editor. Only one word is allowed in the title followed by a single seven-line stanza. The first word in each line begins with the same letter as the title. Hortensia Anderson, a popular haiku and tanka poet, added her own requirement of restricting the line length to six syllables.

Ingrid you are an amazing poet. I admire your writing styles. Each sentence brings millions of thoughts to the mind. This is my favorite line "Flames of love and lust burn." I sincerely believe that one cannot work without the other, both love and lust are essential in a relationship to keep that everlasting burning flame that we all dream about. Very well done my friend, 5/5, kel.
