Back in the days when we were young & free
We filled water in balloons & set them roll on the streets
Life was a mystery but never once did we think
That all this would pass someday & leave us tell it to our kids.
Pamela would push me & I'd fall with a cry
Thieri would intervene & look her deep in the eyes
Ande would swear because that's all he could do
And we could have him told to papa & that would leave him in gloom
Dido was good at making paper balls
And every time we played he ended up with a fall
Josey was the Ref who wore pants & no shoes
But when it came to his whistle he stuck to it like glue
Man those were the days when laughter had meaning
You could go hungry for hours but your heart could stay beating
Yes we had fun at least for that age
And having all those guys away, life would never be the same again
