Other half

by ForsakenBeautyXx   Jan 15, 2009

Filled with anger and hate,
these emotions are not my fate.
what you see and what you hear,
are both very different things i fear.
your stupidity makes me want to scream,
if only this were a horrific dream.
i dont want to be here i say,
why wont you just go away?
when im here, all i want to do is cry,
being in this place, makes me feel like im going to die.
you will never know, what hides inside of me,
because unlucky for you, i will never let you see.

this is my life,
and i cut it in two,
with a knife,
and because of that i laugh,
because other than me,
you will never see the other half
of what used to be.

    by Gabba Gabba Hey

Wow, a chilling ending to the poem--those last lines were my favorite.
The beginning had lines that were a little weirdly put together, but I can definitely tell that you feel what you are saying, and I think I can relate to it on some levels.
I would suggest trying a poem without rhymes like that--see how you like it. I'd definitely check it out ^_^

Thanks for the comment, by the way!
