Time stood still, as I was getting free
I was searching for you, inside of me
I found my heart, but I lost my mind
I guess I know now why love is blind

All I was before, is lost in your eyes
My secret god, the one not in the skies
I broke your heart, but you broke mine
But that is why they say love is blind

Freedom is what I was searching for
I got enslaved by you more and more
Time in my life, was not too kind
Now I know for sure that love is blind

My eyes were closed when I saw you
And yours were not open as much too
I guess I did not feel when you shined
That is why they say love is blind

    Aww CJ this was totally heartbreaking! I never want to see you hurting. You must have put your whole heart into loving this girl, to be as broken as you are. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason.. so i guess it just wasnt meant to be with you and her.
    The flow and rhyme were amazing.. the poem was really great, i just hate to hear of you hurting.

    Dear CJ,

    It takes a certain character to be destroyed by love. I feel we are the same as far as that is concerned. I too love in such a way that it eats me alive. I do not care for eartly goods or status, so to me love is all that matters. That and being good to the people around me.

    I feel for you, I know you are hurting so badly and I wish I could say something to ease your pains..

    Try to see it this way Moucha: we are the fortunate ones, because we have a heart that cares.

    Be strong and wait for a good girl to come by. I am sure she is out there and just as eager to meet you as you are to meet her:)
