Closure

Saying goodbye isnt easy
and closing our chapter
may damn near kill me
but this is my life
and it has been for awhile

I know Ive got to do this
but i cant find the proper way
to say whats on my mind
to look you in the face and say i love you
but right now is just not our time

How do i say i think i found the one
but im not sure that you agree
that you may need to go and find
someone who can hold your heart
the way i offered mine

if you can look me in the eyes
and tell me how you feel
tell me that im the one
and what we have is real
forever and ever yours' ill be

If you are unable
to see me in your future
do me a favor
Take my hand and say it now
So I can do what I know I must

So to you i enclose this letter
To verbalize what my mouth cannot
To at long last make my final stand
and talk about our hearts' desires
maybe to finally close this door and open something new
