What I've Done

by ilikepurple222   Jan 19, 2009

Everytime I'm around you I say way too much. My mouth opens and words come out in a rush of emotion. Words that should only be kept to myself rather than voiced openly. Espcially to you. Not now at least. Sometimes just talking to you makes me feel better. Not that I need you to fill a void in my life. Cause I wouldn't be that desperate. But I am afraid of being alone. And to be perfectly honest, I've been alone for far too long.
Thoughts race through my mind when we talk. What I really want is to wrap my arms around you and tell you that I care. To say everything that's been building up for a year. But look at what I've done. I said too much and scared you away.
Now I'll try and pace myself.
Let go of what I've done.

Inspiration: life, 'With You' by Avril Lavigne, and 'What I've done' by Linkin Park
