What We Thought Was Meant To Be

You and I were something very unexpected,
No one ever thought our lives would be connected.
You and I finally got together even though you were my brothers friend,
Our feelings took us awhile to finally comprehend.
In the beginning everything was fine and well,
Now it's turning into nothing but a cold, dark shell.
We used to talk, we used to be friends,
you used to tell me things but now thats all come to an end.
I have to fight just to get a simple answer from you,
which is something I hate very much to do.
I fell in love with the man you used to be, the man I thought I knew,
but now he's gone just like the morning dew.
As much as this hurts and is killing me to say,
I have no other choice, I have to walk away.
I'll always love you, that will never change,
and now I have to say goodbye cause this love has become far to strange.
