Winter In Klamath (My Hometown)

by Alicia   Jan 20, 2009

Days of light,

Skies are bright.

The change of seasons

Now beckons my plight.

The crisp of autmn

Is now fading away.

Winter is coming,

And I am it's prey.

Cold wind and ice,

Watch out for the flu.

Icy roads and speeders,

Car crashes ensue.

Freezing your toukiss.

Scatter your brains.

Bring on the thick jackets!

and the hot cocoa stains.

Start to prepare

Stock up with ice melt.

Better get a shovel,

They're bound to run out.

Winter in Klamath.

It's always a pain,

But I wouldn't change it,

Not for a thing.
