Pretty Show

As I sit here with my blade,
I suddenly see your face.
Thinking, how happy you will be,
When I finally leave this place.

I sit and I think,
How deep will it go?
How much pain can you cause?
Until the blade takes control.

It feels so much better,
Releasing all the pain,
There is so much blood,
Who cares if I cut again?

The blade has control,
It is really my only friend,
It releases all the pain,
It will bring my life to an end.

I am sorry,
To all those who do care,
But this pain you are unaware.
Of just how much he hurt me,
How much life is so unfair.

I sit in my room,
For the final time,
Grasping the blade,
That will finally end the crime.

There is no need to end the story,
For you all probably know.
What was left of this girl,
Was not a pretty show.

    That was definately intense and filled with emotion. The rhyme and flow was perfect too. But I must say if anyone is happy about you doing this then they don't deserve a minute of your time. I love how strong your poem was and how you expressed how you feel. 5/5

    The hurt and pain can be felt in these words you have expressed in this write. It is sadden me to read this type of write, knowing that this does really happen in the world. But, know that there are people that do love and care for each and everyone of you that do this. May you find the peace and joy that you seek deep down within your heart.

    Amazing job, its a great emotional portrayal of the thoughts in the mind of a suicidal teen. The flow was great. You got really creative which made a only kind of original idea, sound like a very original poem. Great job, keep it up

    Awww Sam.. this poem is a real heartbreaker. Such lengths girls go to reach a guy. As ive told you many times before in my comments, cutting and self harm is not the answer, but i know that doesnt mean much coming from me. When it seems like no one will care, look again, because many people will be there for you, through thick and thin. Not necessarily the people surrounding you in your life, but i know that many people will be here on poems and quotes for you.
    The flow and rhyme were good by the way.

    Sam , i read this poem adn i get stunned, and not beleve that you can ever feel like that .

    leave this place becasue of someone want to . i understand how you must felt but that si not right .

    you are a great girl. a great person , the one that dont like you can shove it up his .. (bad word PG 18 )>.<

    soo you need to have a bit of courage to face that guy ro person , and stand up . we can not allow life to break us , she can bend us but not break us.

    that blade should be used in her lpace not your skin girl

    i enjoyed the flow of this poem , but the idea of you feeling like this. jsut overwhelmed me and made me really sad
