Too Many Times Like That (1)

by Ahmed Ali   Jan 22, 2009

"An apology made a million times is worth nothing if you don't know what you are apologizing for. If you don't know what you are saying, if you don't know what you are doing, you'd best stop, drop and just roll dead on the floor."

As your screens have flickered,
another somber note has been composed.
Something I've thought about from one blue moon to the next.
More than a million times, God knows.

I carry a burden that a lot of foot-soldiers also do, out there.
The type that only the brave & foolish hold onto it,
because we are the only types that blindly care.

It's an epic battle that doesn't launch a thousand ships~
~but it does indeed warrant more than a million collisions of ones lips.

It's a tragic tale of "Could have been's", "Would have been's" and "What once was".
A tale of invisible tears and what was nearly shed, which was blood.

It's a story of the forgotten, a tale that nobody really knows.
And now is the time to tell it; and so, this is how the story goes...
