Misery

by Just another pretty face   Jan 22, 2009

My soul is gone,
my body rotten.
The coffin closed,
shielding my bones.

When I was alive,
all I wanted was for you to notice me.
Now that I'm dead,
I only wish to be alive so I can see you pretty face.

I sit down here in hell,
knowing I will never see you again.
You're an angel,
so you'll be in heaven.

I sink into my misery,
unable to push out any tears.
I wish I didn't die so young,
and lost the chance.

I'm lost on how she died. did she kill her self or just died young? oh, well, set aside, this poem was a good read and deserving a 5/5 indeed.

    Worded well...but ever so sad!
How can we know where we will go after we die? I have a feeling we wil all go to heaven, even if we were "bad" during our life, but that's just my opinion:)

    Good job on the poem:)

    5/5 Ingrid
