Rainy day

by Zulay Martinez   Jan 23, 2009

Rainy day, rainy day where every raindrop
Whispers and every rain drop has no end

Rainy day where the worst time is not the
Cold but the pain

The wind like cold hands around your body
And the rains like a blanket of ice

Doing nothing but making your body numb
Your brain more and more

Lost in haze, almost out of sight
Drop drop stop every movement I make
More painful yet im still sane

Every puddle a sea every splash a wave
White dress I were so transparent

Face as white as the now dark sky
Wind pushing me almost like blows

Almost feels like its trying to pull me away
Close my eyes and think of the sun and wait
Wait to see what beholds me next

For I am a slave of the rain
Rain that someday will stop whispering
To me and the raindrops will have an end
