The Cycle

Out of the blue, you find someone new,
There's so many things that you two do,

At first it's not love, but more like lust,
Then, in your heart you start to trust,

You fall in love, love of the purest kind,
The type few people ever truly find,

Feels like you can make magic together,
And a love like this could last forever,

They're the one, the love of your life,
Plans of children, of husband and wife,

But somewhere, somehow, something went wrong,
Then all that love got a little less strong,

And though you tried to make it right,
The love you once shared is out of sight,

Now, you see they're with someone new,
Doing the things that you used to do,
