Putting The Vile In The Trash

by Soulful Ensemble   Jan 24, 2009

On a cold night I hope you're warm
With thoughts that gently swoon.
Your special mind will shed a thorn
As it looks out at the moon.

The silver lining of your eyes
Flying through the misty, colored skies
Clears the fog in stormy nights
So you can blast through clouds of every height.

Don't shiver when you think of him
The backstabbing heartbreaker with no smile
That swoops from behind, singing a hymn
To resound his calling that is vile.

Life springs from the stem of a daffodil
Every minute your body breathes.
When evil feelings come against a hill
They will turn around and leave.

Don't waste time fretting goodbyes
When the sun will always rise
And push aside shadowy vines
To widen and awaken eyes.

The foggy air is clearing
Free, as new flowers seem to sprout
With kind and peaceful glee
You'll no longer have to shout.

The drama that develops daily
Is a distraction sadness avails.
It tries to crush you plainly
Just wanting you to fail.

You have the gift of graceful powers
And if you want it will rain flowers
With every color as they shower
On each and every single hour.
