Look for Me in Heaven

by Unseen Exposure   Jun 10, 2004

I lay down on my floor,
And curl up in a ball,
I stare into a corner,
And let my just tears fall,

Fall until morning,
Fall until they stop,
Fall until none left,
Until the last one drops,

Only then I'll come,
And see what's left to say,
But you may turn your head,
And look the other way,

Look until you can't,
Look until your blind,
Look the other way,
Look and see me cry,

I don't trust your promise,
I don't trust your word,
I can't believe this happened,
It's the most I've ever hurt,

Be sure to say a prayer,
For every lie you told,
That way I can let go,
And let my wings unfold,

Yes I really loved you,
Yes I really cared,
Yes I really needed you,
But life just isn't fair,

So go and don't look back,
Go and don't give in,
Look for me in heaven,
Cause I'll be there to let you in.
